Darren focuses on sourcing, investing in, and managing the development of unique private investments opportunities. He is also available to help clients explore private opportunities they may have outside of Sage.
Prior to joining Sage in 2006, Darren was president of Gubernick Beverage Inc., the largest beverage wholesaler/retailer in the city of Philadelphia from 1990 up until its sale in 2003. During the same time, he created several real estate partnerships, founded a property management firm in the Philadelphia region, and served as a strategic consultant for several private equity funds.
Darren graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from the George Washington University, majoring in Finance.
What inspires you about your job?
I enjoy evaluating opportunities for clients that are outside of the typical equity fund investment. It is one of our unique service options. I love helping clients and learning about new nuances of industries and companies.
